Noam Devey is the Educational Organiser for Show Racism the Red Card which is an organisation which aims to empower people by providing accurate information and knowledge, enabling them to tackle racism and challenge racist attitudes.

This workshop will aim to:

Increase understanding of the need to critically reflect on their personal prejudice
Increase understanding of how to recognise racism and respond appropriately
Give Greater understanding of appropriate terminology relating to ethnicity
Increase awareness of the need for anti -racism practice.
As part of their national campaign, Show Racism the Red Card  are asking people to wear red as a statement against racism on 19 October 2018. They have also asked participants to wear red on the day of the workshop if they want to to do this in support of their campaign.
