Chinese New Year is also known as the Spring Festival in modern Chinese. It is an important Chinese festival celebrated at the turn of the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. As 2019 Chinese New Year is coming soon, Chinese Society has organised an event on 08/02/2019 at City Hall for everyone who live in Cardiff and  interested in Chinese New Year Celebration and culture. We are also going to hold a Chinese Market before the main celebration. At Chinese Market, you will get a chance to know more about Chinese culture. There is also a sale happening for everyone who is interested in traditional Chinese crafts and gifts. During the New Year Celebration, various performances will amaze you and bring you a better experience of celebrating Chinese New Year.
