CSEMS travel to Sheffield for the USEMS conference (Saturday 9th November 2019) 

We have secured a limited number of early bird tickets that we as a  society are also subsidising for the national Undergraduate Sport and Exercise Medicine Society’s (USEMS conference. This is an amazing event. Confirmed speakers so far: Max Litchfield (GB world and Olympic Swimmer) - Injury from an athletes perspective, Dr Jim Moxon (Liverpool FC Academy Doctor) - Common Injuries in Football, Dr Andrew Hogg (GB Boxing Team Doctor) – Concussion, Dr Lee Herrington (Olympic Physiotherapist for GB) - Physiotherapy in Elite Sports, Dr Alex Bowmer (Medical Head for the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL) - Getting Students involved in SEM, Kaseem Khan & Chris Hattersley (Physiotherapists, S&C coaches) - Strength and Longevity, Dr Carolyn Nahman (Psychiatrist) - Exercise and Eating Disorders. 

CSEMS are selling the tickets to members for only £10 () and join our Facebook event (https://www.facebook.com/events/821939141556730/)! originally student early bird tickets were £12 but the period has closed and now the cheapest student ticket is £16. So over a third of a discount! We will also be organising group CSEM travel (car sharing) to and from the conference to reduce the cost.  Make sure you buy your ticket quick, There are only a very limited number.
