Already been to one of our GIAGs and eager to cave again? Never been caving and always wanted to try it? Returning to the club and excited to spend the weekend with the newbies of the club? Why not come along to our first weekend away?
Designed for novice cavers, the price for our GIAG weekend to te Mendips includes:
- t trip options on both Saturday and Sunday
- accomodation for both nights
- all transport
- cooked breakfast on both mornings and an evening meal on the Saturday night
- kit hire
Please bring with you:
- a towel
- sports clothes for the caves and at least two changes of clothes for after the trips
- any medication you may need (please inform committee of this ASAP)
- some food for dinner on Friday night and lunches on both days plus any drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) that you may want (we will be stopping at big Tesco on our way so feel free to buy what you need there)
- a sleeping bag and a pillow
Our return time is TBC and depends on the weather, traffic and the speed of the trips but we aim to be back at the SU before 7pm on the Sunday night.
