Mental Health of Refugees and Asylum Seekers Workshop - Disparities in Healthcare Short Course
Do you know what sort of rights refugees and asylum seekers have in regards of accessing healthcare or what type of healthcare they can access? Do you know what kind of barriers they face and how you can help with minimising those barriers?
Join us for an interactive workshop that will help you with understanding the different barriers that can arise from accessing healthcare if you are a Refugee or an Asylum Seeker.
The workshop will also focus on the mental health of refugees and asylum seekers as well as the challenges faced in regards of accessing mental health services.
This is part of our Disparities in Healthcare Short Course; there are certificates signed by the Dean of Medicine available for those who attend at least 4 of our fortnightly short course events this term.
FREE for members, £1 for non-members.
