Event Information
Our award-winning event is open to everyone from only £5, with ALL equipment (£500 worth!), and ammo provided with the GIAG ticket, for as many games as you can handle.
In our very own Students’ Union, the Great Hall will be unrecognisable after we transform it into a 5v5 close-quarters combat zone that we call SUCQC, as suggested by the name CQC (Close-Quarter Combat). The balcony will also be open so you can watch the games going on from another perspective!
The event will be split into a MORNING and an AFTERNOON slot. There will be a discounted ticket if you want to attend the full day.
Bring your mates down for a great time and a taster of what airsoft is like. You are more than encouraged to chat to us and ask any questions you may have about our Society or airsoft in general.
We will provide all of the kit and ammo that you will need for the day. All we need you to bring is your energy and some shoes with good grip! We also advise covering your arms and legs with long sleeves and trousers. Gloves are also highly recommended
ALL MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS WELCOME, REGARDLESS OF KIT OWNED.
The Great Hall on the SU’s first floor will be open from 10:00-17:30. Please make sure you arrive in time, as there will be a safety briefing for each time slot! If you miss this, you will NOT be allowed to play. From then, you can leave at any time you fancy.
The morning slot will be open from 10:30 to 13:30. The briefing will be at 10:45 sharp with games commencing shortly after.
The afternoon slot will be open from 14:00 to 17:00. The briefing will be at 14:15 sharp with games commencing shortly after.
TICKETS INFO:
Tickets will go live on our SU page at 19:00 17/11/19.
Look for "GIAG SUCQC Morning 01/12" for the morning ticket;
"GIAG SUCQC Afternoon 01/12" for the afternoon ticket
or "GIAG SUCQC Full Day 01/12" for the day ticket.
Morning/Afternoon slots will be £5 each or you can purchase a discounted full day ticket for £8
Again, do NOT be late and miss the safety briefings!
