Following the band’s epic appearance at British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park on Saturday 1 July, The Damned has announced the massive ‘Evil Spirits’ UK tour, which is set to rock venues across the country from 26 January – 17 February 2018, including a date at the London 02 Forum. Hot off the success of their 40th Anniversary tour in the US, fans will get to experience the band’s raw, primal and macabre energy in some truly intimate venues and get up close and personal with punk’s original connoisseurs. Tickets go on sale 10AM on Friday 7 July from www.aegpresents.co.uk

With no shortage of pioneering hits, Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Monty Oxymoron, Pinch and Stu West will ensure that The Damned’s 2018 UK tour will electrify fans across the nation. Fans should expect blistering performances of the likes of the immortal ‘New Rose’ – recently voted the ‘Best Punk Song Ever’ by Kerrang! Magazine. As well as other dark and defiant classics ‘Neat Neat Neat’, ‘Love Song', ‘Smash It Up’ and many more every night from the band who define punk and redefined rock music forever.

Formed in 1976, The Damned were the first British punk band to commercially release both a single and an album, as well as take their music Stateside, with their first US voyage taking place in 1977. They are the originators of the goth punk movement and have inspired countless numbers of bands that have gone on to see huge success. Selling millions of albums over four decades, The Damned’s 2018 UK tour will see the band revisit their classics and electrify venues across the country.
