The Students’ Union is a democratic member organisation, which means that you, students, have the right to make crucial decisions on what the SU does and how it is run. There are various democratic forums and systems in place that enable this to happen.
This student leader session will explain how decisions are made at the Students’ Union, how SU democracy works, and most importantly, how you can get involved. If you have any idea for change, are thinking of putting yourself forward for an elected position or are interested in democracy and representation systems more generally, and potentially want to work in this field in the future, then this is the session for you!
