Cardiff Box Office - Live Music, Gigs, Events, Tickets

Event Information

This session draws from the training developed as part of the Cynnau | Ignite research culture leadership development programme. The first part of the session focuses on research culture, values, self-awareness and developing a collegial mindset. It introduces participants to the concept of research culture values and, specifically, the factors which contribute to a positive research culture. It then invites participants to think about the concept of collegiality, what it means to them, and explores facilitative mindsets to enhance collegiality. The session then offers practical guidance on putting this into practice, providing training on how to approach designing and organising research events in your community. The final part of the sessions reflects on the specific role of PGR reps in Cardiff’s governance, and the role you can play in ensuring the voices of your community are heard.
